ABOUT HERE ARE ALL THE BLACK PEOPLE

The One Club's celebrated Here Are All The Black People is the most highly anticipated multicultural career fair for aspiring creatives in the advertising and design industries. HAATBP provides real world solutions to the lack of diversity in advertising creative departments. Companies that recognize the value of having creatives from diverse backgrounds and experiences on their team support this one-day event.

HAATBP was created a few years ago, following a discussion between advertising greats Jimmy Smith and Jeff Goodby about diversity in advertising, when the question was asked, "Where Are All The Black People?" The One Club decided to do something about it and thus created Here Are All The Black People as an answer. Here Are All The Black People is a one-day annual event where future multicultural creatives get to showcase their talent to top agencies and creative professionals in the business.

This year's agenda includes testimonials by top creatives from various agencies, portfolio-building workshops, portfolio reviews, live "elevator" pitches, mentoring sessions, one-on-one interviews with agency recruiters and more! Also, be sure to enter the HAATBP poster contest!

The event is open to students, recent graduates and professionals looking for a career change, also industry creatives who are looking to give back, meet and hire new, diverse talent.
