Who Should Attend?
"WHere are all the Black People" is a place for graduating seniors and young creatives from multicultural backgrounds to learn about a career in the advertising industry and the do's and don'ts of how to get in the business.
Anyone interested in turning his or her passions for writing, graphic design, planning, digital design or programming into a career should attend.
**PLEASE NOTE: All attendees must pre-register on the website. Walk-ins will not be accepted.
People Who Want to Work in Advertising:
Creative people with an advertising background or those working in another profession, but looking to enter advertising are encouraged to attend.
Students & Recent Graduates
We also welcome graduating seniors from portfolio schools, historically black colleges or other educational institutions with an interest in writing, graphic design, production or digital design or programming.
If you’d like to have your work reviewed, a completed advertising portfolio is not required. Bring whatever work you have along with your questions, your passion and your creativity.
People Looking for Talent
One of the best ways creative professionals can support young creatives is by providing constructive feedback on their work. By taking the time to lend your knowledge and expertise you will be helping to foster the next generation.
Chief Marketing Officers
Chief Marketing Officers or representatives from in house agencies will find numerous ways to be involved from taking part in portfolio reviews to sponsorship opportunities.
Agency or independent recruiters are encouraged to participate in the portfolio reviews and discussions. There will also be many opportunities to bring greater focus on your agency through sponsorships.
